Nelly Kim Furtado, (n. 2 de diciembre de 1978).
Es una cantante y compositora luso-canadiense.
Furtado saltó a la fama en el año 2000 con el lanzamiento de su álbum de debut, Whoa, Nelly!, que contenía sus sencillos I'm like a bird, por el que ganó un Grammy a la Mejor Actuación Vocal Femenina de Pop en el año 2000 y Turn off the light. Después de convertirse en madre, lanzó Folklore (2003), un álbum menos exitoso comercialmente, con sencillos como Try y Força, que fue el himno oficial de la Eurocopa de Fútbol de 2004.
Con su tercer álbum, Loose (2006), ha cosechado mucho éxito. Las canciones Maneater y Promiscuous estuvieron 7 y 9 semanas, respectivamente, en el puesto número uno de las listas de éxitos más importantes del mundo. Repitió este logro con su siguiente sencillo Say it right. El mayor éxito de su último disco en el mundo hispano fue su sencillo con el colombiano Juanes, Te busqué, el cual llegó al número 1 de los 40 Principales de España, puesto que volvió a alcanzar con un sencillo en inglés, All Good Things (Come to an End) y hasta hace poco era numero uno con Say it right en dicha lista.

Chicas!!! os habéis leído todo lo que pusisteis sobre ella? No habréis cortado y pegado, verdad? Está bien...aunque falta una presentación de vosotras, no os parece???
sí la verdad es que si que nos falta una presentación pero no sabíamos si había que ponerla o no entonces no la puesimos pero... aún estamos a tiempo¿? jeje ya nos diras la nota
